Jeannine K. Snively, 69, of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Jeannine was born March 6, 1953 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Katherine “Kata” Vichich Snively and Terry E. Snively.
She was a 1971 graduate of River High School. She worked at Netcare Corporations in Columbus, Ohio for 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Allison Carpenter and a brother, Msgt. Patrick Sam Snively.
Jeannine is survived by two daughters, Dannette (Mick) Jackson of Barnesville, Ohio, Amy (Jim) Day of Lancaster, Ohio, two brothers, Terry (Rose) Snively of Powhatan Point, Ohio, John (Marilyn) Snively of Lancaster, Ohio, four grandchildren, Katie and Justin Jackson, Kayla and Abby Day, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Monday, February 27 from 10:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Interment to follow at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.

Terry, John, Dannette, and families: Nomi and I are so sorry to hear of Jeannine’s unexpected passing. From the time I knew her as a kid cousin in the early 60s to our meeting for lunch in Tampa some years ago, she was always full of laughter and fun.
