Margaret Johnson, 74 of Bellaire, Ohio died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Liza’s Place in Wheeling, WV. She was born March 27, 1942 a daughter of the late Clark and Esther (Anderson) White in Stewartsville, OH.

Margaret was a veteran having served in the Army and then working in the Army Reserve for 26 years in the 463 Engineer Battalion in Bellaire as a supply Sergeant. She loved to crochet, ceramics and quilting.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Rose Marie Johnson, a sister, Patricia Piper and two brothers Russell and Clark White.

She is survived by her children, Melody (John) Schreiner of Barnesville, GA and Robert C. Johnson Jr. of Lewistown, PA. She is also survived by four sisters, Janice Hendershot of Bellaire, Ohio, Grace (Carl) Gilpen of Moundsville, WV, Barbara Frye of Bellaire, Ohio and Lillian Weekley of Bellaire, Ohio; as well as two brothers, Roy White of Savanna, GA and Tom White of Moundsville, WV. In addition she is survived by six grandchildren, Shannon Johnson of East Point, GA, Robert C. Johnson III of Lewistown, PA, Tiffany Johnson of Hershey, PA, Jessica Johnson of Copperscove, TX, Tristan Johnson of Lewistown, PA and Briar Johnson of Lewistown, PA.

Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th street Bellaire, Ohio 43906.
