Margaret Strizak, 92, of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday October 1, 2016 at Continuous Care in Wheeling, WV. She was born December 17, 1923 a daughter of the late Andrew and Ana (Sabol) Vavrek in St. Joe Ohio. She was a devout catholic and a homemaker who loved to bake and would do anything for anyone. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and was took an active role in the church. She was married to Joseph Strizak on July 24,

She was married to Joseph Strizak on July 24, 1943 and shared 66 years together. Margaret worked for the Imperial Glass Company during the war while her husband served. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six brothers, Andy, Joe, Frank, John, Steve and an infant Steve Strizak. She was also preceded by her sister Anne Menk. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Strizak of Bellaire, Ohio, Steven Strizak of Bellaire, Ohio and Michael (Alexandra) Strizak of Stewartsville, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th street Bellaire, Ohio 43906 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday October 6, 2016 with a vigil service being held at 7:30 pm. Funeral liturgy with mass will be held on Friday October 7, 2016 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church in Neffs, Ohio with Fr. Dan Heusel officiating. Committal services will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in the Guardian Angel Mausoleum in Bellaire, Ohio.
