Martha was a great classmate….we double dated at our senior prom in 1954. Over the years we have kept in contact. I now live in Carlsbad, California and when I would visit in Bridgeport, Ohio we would frequently get together for lunch I have and will always have fond memories of my friend – the many fun years we had at Warwood High School being in plays, going to football, basketball and other events. She was a true friend full of life and smiles. I will miss her, but she will always be in my heart…

My fond memory of Martha was when I visited her at the Spiegel catalog store once and she asked me to walk with her to the bank as she needed to cash a check to get some money for her girls. She loved her family and always had the most beautiful smile! May you all find peace through your memories of Martha.

Dear John and Family,
Sadly, I truly feel the depth of your pain during this most difficult time. My mother Rose DeGenova passed away in December and I’m confident she has already greeted Martha in heaven! They are surely reminiscing about those early years and sharing quite a few laughs.
Sincerely,
Nadine DeGenova and family

I feel honored and blessed that I knew martha. I spent many nights at her home in my younger years and martha you always made me feel welcome and part of your family, for that I want to thank you. You have left many good memories in my heart of which I have never forgotten. I was so fortunate to witness the love that you showed to each of your children and to your wonderful husband. Thank you for the memories. My deepest sympathy to all of the family you are all in my prayers.
