Mary Ellen Habursky, 88, of St. Clairsville, OH formerly of Tiltonsville, OH died Friday, November 18, 2016 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville. She was born December 20, 1927 in Tiltonsville, a daughter of the late Patsy and Bertha Bonarski Julian.

Mary Ellen worked many years at East Ohio Regional Hospital as an LPN, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a former member of the St. Joseph Parish where she was a member of Catholic Women’s Club and St. Frances Society. Later in her life, she volunteered for many area charities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Habursky; an infant daughter, Jo Ellen Habursky; a brother, Victor Julian.

Surviving are two sons, Joel (Debbi) Habursky and Jerald (Mary Jo) Habursky both of St. Clairsville; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Julie) Habursky, Jill Habursky and Travis Habursky; a great-grandson, Dominic Habursky.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950.

Funeral Liturgy with Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Maxfield as celebrant.

Entombment in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
