Mary “Irene” Stetz, 86 of Shadyside, Ohio died Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Emerald Pointe Care Center in Barnesville, Ohio.
She was born November 10, 1931 in Powhatan Point, Ohio a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Baker Bellville.
Irene was a retired employee of the former Bobbie Brooks in Bellaire, Ohio and Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stetz, one son, Joseph Anthony “Joe” Stetz, one brother Jacob Bellville and one sister, Edna Mae Roberts.
Surviving are her son, Larry (Vicky) Townson of Powhatan Point, Ohio, five sisters, Betty Bier of Madison, Ohio, Elsie M. (Robert) Gieger of Columbus, Ohio, Linda (Richard) tracey of Bradford, PA, Juanita Kasto of Beckley, WV and Constance Bylieu of Bridgeport, Ohio. Also two grandchildren, Carla Austin and Christopher (Brittany) Townson, three great grandchildren, Alexandria Austin, Ashtin Austin and Chayce Townson and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services. Final arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.

Love and miss you, Irene. I will always remember the messages you left when I was not home. I appreciated all the books you gave me. We shared a love for reading as most of the family does. May you be at peace with all pain forever gone.
