Mary Margaret (Prantil) Lawrence, 74, of Shadyside, Ohio suddenly passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at her home.
She was born at Bellaire Hospital on February 21, 1948 a daughter of the late Blanche Marie and Louis Charles Prantil.
Mary was a LPN and was quite active in the Catholic Church. A truly special woman who will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Carl Lawrence and her sisters, Anna Marie Mahaffee, Patricia Louise Vodvarka, and Gloria Jean Gruss.
Surviving are her brothers, Ronald Joseph Prantil of Shadyside, Julius Attilio Prantil of Humble, Texas and Louis Eugene Prantil of Charleston, South Carolina along with several nieces and nephews and many other extended family members.
As per Mary’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home- Shadyside Chapel 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside.

Mary was such a dear sweet friend! I will miss her very much ,but I have faith that I will see her again in God’s heavenly kingdom. May you rest in peace my sister in Christ. Sending my love and prayers to Mary’s family.
Thoughts and Prayers for Mary’s family and all who loved her. I worked with Mary also as an LPN in LTC for a few years and have lots of happy and pleasant memories. Mary was a very compassionate and caring nurse who took excellent care of her patients! Fly high with the Angels, Mary, and may you Rest in Peace!
