Mary T. Neuhart, 76 of Shadyside, Ohio died peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

She was born August 19, 1939 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Frank and Teresa DiGiandomenico Ianzito.

Mary was the owner and insurance agent of the former Neuhart Insurance Agency in Bellaire, Ohio. She was a graduate of Bellaire High School, Class of 1957, a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church of Shadyside, Ohio where she was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and assisted with the funeral luncheons and also assisted with the Shadyside Food Pantry. Mary was an avid tennis player.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Neuhart on October 22, 1992, her brother, Patrick F. “Pat” Ianzito and her sister, Linda Busch.

Surviving are her children, Kristi Fijalkowski, Mark (Sherri) Fijalkowski, Sr. and Susan (Bob) Berisford all of Shadyside, Ohio, her sister-in-law, Vicki Ianzito of Columbus, Ohio. Also her five grandchildren, Mark Fijalkowski, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, Kristen Fijalkowski, Joshua Duncan, Sean Simonson and Alex Simonson all of Shadyside, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Das at OVMC and to Jerry and Karen Narcisi and family.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 11 am until 12:45 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 pm at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio with Fr. Samuel R. Saprano, as Celebrant. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Another family member has passed and gone to live with our Heavenly Father! Mary was a sweet, loving, kind person who loved her children and grandchildren to the moon and back. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten!

When a dearly loved family member passes, it is always a painful and difficult experience for the family. Sorry for your loss. The best friend that a bereaved family can have is our Creator, God.
