Mary Taylor Porterfield 95, formerly of Taylor Lane St.Clairsville and Elmhurst House of Friendship Wheeling died August 30, 2015.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church St.Clairsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary McMaster Taylor and her husband David Porterfield in 1996 and five brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are three sons William (Jill), James (Bonnie) and Richard (Deb) Porterfield six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 PM until the time of Mar’s Funeral Service at 4 PM Thursday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville 43950 with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Elmhurst c/o Elmhurst House of Friendship 1228 National Road Wheeling, WV 26003.

I was very sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I worked at Elmhurst for 4 years and came to know her well. She was a very nice lady. May she rest in peace.
