Melanie and I met in the eighth grade when class was held in the basement of Bellaire High. Mel always had the nicest smile and most beautiful hair.
Although we didn’t have many classes together in high school, we had such fun in the Pep Club. Melanie was full of fun in the stands and decorating the lockers on Thursdays after school. Rest in sweet laughter Mel.

Melainie truly had “a loving extended family.” She was a loving, caring Child of God herself. When my mother passed nearly two years ago, Mel put forth the effort to get to Bauknecht’s to view her “Aunt Gertrude” and offer her condolences and support to our family. That meant so much and was deeply appreciated. She was indeed a blessing to us all.

At times in our lives someone special crosses our path as we walk on that path of life Melanie was one of those special people and will not be forgotten
Many years ago I had the honor to meet you , to talk with you, share memories of friends we grew up with. you and I worked together, share laughs and became friends. For almost 20 years we spent 8 hrs a day 5 days a week servicing the public in all their food needs, we made a lot more friends doing this. Fun and laughter was a big part of our job. we made a difference we made others laugh too………………….. keep laughing Mel!!!!! I will truly miss you my friend!!!! But will hold fond memories of you forever!!!! Dave
