Michael Joseph “Mike” Modra died Saturday June 22, 2019.

He was born February 12, 1979 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of Frank and Dianna (Sisson) Modra.

He graduated from River High School and was a Protestant by faith.

Mike worked as a general contractor and enjoyed fixing up cars.

He loved spending time with his children.

Mike is survived by his parents and his daughters, Gara, Sidney and Chloe Modra all of Powhatan Point, Ohio.

In addition he is survived by his brothers Frank Modra III of Lexington, KY, Tom Modra and Robert Modra both of Powhatan Point, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main St. Powhatan Point, Ohio 43942.

Mike was such a character, always with that mischievious smile on his face every time I saw him, like a big ornery kid. He was one of a kind. Many prayers of strength and comfort for everyone in his family. My heart goes out to all of you.

I new Mike in the most peculiar way. I got to know him very well and this I can say, he loved his children and family with all his heart, his friends will feel the loss as time goes on. Our home knows the loss of a son and this is something you live with the rest of your life. To family and friends our family feels your loss.
