Doug and Judy–and family: So sorry to hear of the loss of Doug’s mother. These losses are difficult at any time of the year, but seem to be even more difficult when they occur around “family” Holidays like Christmas. Please accept our sympathies and pass them along to all of your family members.

So very sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. So many memories. We were lifelong friends, having played together on both sides of McMahon’s Creek. Sled-riding, exploring the woods and generally enjoying the out-of-doors. We may have lost a wonderful woman, but heaven is now a much brighter place. My thoughts are with the entire Frizzi Family.

We are both saddened and joyful that Nancy has gone home to be with the Lord. We are certain that we and all who knew her are grieving but we are trusting that the Lord will comfort you, along with your family and friends at this time. 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 (HCSB) SAYS: 3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ our comfort also overflows. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is experienced in ⌊your⌋ endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that as you share in the sufferings, so ⌊you will share⌋ in the comfort. Be sure we have prayed and continue to pray God’s richest blessings on everyone. With the Love of Christ, Pastor Chuck & Sheila and the entire congregation of Wheeling First Church of God.
