Nancy Rogers, 75 of Bellaire, Ohio died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home.

She was born July 9, 1940 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late James Anderson and Julia Yocum Anderson Banig.

Nancy was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She loved to be surrounded by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Rogers, her daughter, Debra Shreve, her brother, Leroy Anderson and her sisters, Della Wnek, Marie and Florence Anderson.

Surviving are her sons, Brian (Regina) Rogers of Shadyside, Ohio and Kevin (Vicki Cooper) Rogers of Bellaire, Ohio. Also eight grandchildren, Kevin (Rebecca) Rogers of Moundsville, WV, Charity (Nick) May and Brian Rogers, Jr. both of Shadyside, Ohio, Jerrilyn (Wayne) Carter, Brian D. Rogers, Teresa (William) LeMasters and Tonya (Robert) Yoho all of Moundsville, WV, Jay Galloway of Florida and fifteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 2 pm until time of services at 7 pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating.

I am sorry for your loss. At such times words that truly comfort are hard to think of, but the Bible has these comforting words found at Philippians 4:6&7. The Bible can be a source of comfort. May the family keep in mind that God promise to help through these difficult timem if you turn to him in Prayer. You can read this scripture online at http://www.jw.org

God bless you Nancy. You were loved by the ones who knew you best, your family & grandchildren. Your pets also were a great source of joy for you. No one can ask for more. I am so happy that we were able to meet in this life and become friends.

My life is full of great memory’s of gram she was my best friend. I grew up thinking of her as my mom. She will always be in my Hart.
