Nettie Mary Yonyon, of Falcon, CO, passed on to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 29,2022.
She was born to William and Mary Pavlovic Chesnick on February 4,1927 in Imperial, PA.

A long-time resident of Bellaire, Ohio, where she was a member of and a teacher at the South Bellaire United Methodist Church. Nettie and her husband, Joe, ministered and sang together in various churches in the area prior to his home-going in 1985. In recent years she was an e-member (electronic) of Eagle Mountain International Church in Newark, TX.

Nettie was known by her friends and family as a woman of prayer and an encourager to all those who knew her.

An amazing and loving mother, mother-in-law, aunt and friend who was always full of joy and looking out for your best interest. She was also known for her delicious cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Yonyon, 2 brothers; Mark and Laddie Chesnick, and her sister Olga Kolar.

She is survived by her daughter Kathie Spencer and her son-in-law, Lloyd Jim Spencer, 2 nieces Betty (Randall) Bayer and Beverly Navarro,
both of Las Vegas, NV.

Burial will be in Powhatan, Ohio. A celebration of life will be held in May of 2023. Details to follow. Arrangements by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio​

I remember Nettie from when I was little and lived across the road from her. Many times i ventured over and her and Joe would take me to Sunday school at south bellaire United Methodist church 😊

Kathie, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was an incredible and Godly woman. I have many good memories from Jacobsburg Bible Church.
