Olga M. Lindquist, 97, of Powhatan Point, OH and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born May 25, 1918 in Avella, PA a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Pencak Bednar.
Olga was a retired employee of West Penn Hospital, a homemaker, wife and mother and a Catholic by faith. She loved her roses and bird watching, was a gracious host and kept her mother’s tradition of Polish cooking alive.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her father, Harry Prystasz; her husband, Arthur “Bud” Lindquist; a son, Gary Lindquist; sisters, Mary Vianelli and Frances Cain; brothers, Joseph, John and George Bednar.
Surviving are one sister, Ann Dierkes-Mc Gee of Powhatan Point and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 11 am until time of funeral service at 2 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, OH with Mr. Dale Ingold officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
