Paul J. Hotlosz, 58 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022 at his home.
He was born November 13, 1963 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Mildred and Thomas P. Hotlosz.
Paul graduated from St. John Central High School. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio and often served as an altar boy at mass. After High School he attended Culinary school and began work in the food service industry. He later moved onto home improvement/painting with his most recent employment being in building maintenance.
Paul was an amazing and loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Nephew. He had a love for cooking handed down to him from his mother. Paul was an instrumental part of all the lives of his family members. There was rarely a family event that Paul did not play a key role. His sense of humor, as was he, were definitely unique.
Paul was blessed with a daughter, Heidi Lynn and granddaughter Ava. He adored them, they were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bertha and Mary Kay and brother, Angels Johns.
Paul is survived by his daughter Heidi Lynn (fiance Erik Grennell) and grandaughter Ava, his siblings Walter (Sherri) of Bellaire, OH; Thomas (Sally) Powhatan Pt, OH; Frank (Cindy) Wheeling WV; Peter (Laurie) San Jose, CA; David (Renee) Santa Clara, CA; Bruce (Teresa) Bridgeport, OH; Barbara (Tom) Vais Monte Sereno, CA; special nieces Laurie (Michael) Day Bridgeport, OH; and Heather Hotlosz (Chris Pieratt) Cincinnati, OH; Aunts Donna, Luella and Kay Ticarich and many nieces and nephews.
Farewell Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Friend. Our lives will not be the same without you but our hearts will forever be home to you.
Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of Paul’s life in the Hotlosz family home at 3735 Jefferson Street, Bellaire, OH on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 1 PM to 3 PM with liturgy by Fr. Daniel Heusel starting at 1:30 PM.
