PAULA J. JUNKINS, 79, of Shadyside, OH, died March 12, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital.
Paula was born March 2, 1937 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Paul C, and Mary Golch Ault.
She was retired from the Ormet Corporation, was a member of St Mary Catholic Church, Shadyside, OH.
Paula was a 1955 graduate of Shadyside High School, She was instrumental in re-establishing the Shadyside High School Alumni Association where she served as treasurer and is a current Trustee. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club, current vice president of the Shadyside Women’s Club, American Legion Post 521 Auxiliary.
Paula was very civic minded and could be found throughout the village of Shadyside at many various functions lending a hand where needed.
Surviving is her husband, Paul Junkins Jr, a brother, Robert Michael ( Bernice) Ault of Westminster CA., a sister Myra (Harold) Waller of Gnadenhutten, OH., several nieces , nephews, cousins and many friends.
Family and friends received Tuesday 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 11am Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church Shadyside, Ohio.
Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery.
Vigil Service 7:45 pm Tuesday
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Shadyside High School Alumni Association.

A wonderful Aunt. So many memories of visits to Shadyside, the theater and special trips. You left us too soon.

Junior, sorry for your loss. Paula was the last class officer of ’55. Her constant work for the Shadyside Alumni and her work on the class reunions will be greatly missed by all.
God bless you Paula. I will miss you. So enjoyed how much you loved your church and community. All the children & adults you treated with love and kindness are blessed to have known you.

Junior, You have our deepest sympathy. Paula is a Special Lady. Always helping others anyway she could. You two are very special to us and we couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. She will be missed dearly. Bill promised her that we would look out for you and we will. RIP Paula….
