Phyllis was a great lady. When I went to college to become an Officer in The Salvation Army, she encouraged me the entire way. I was told my by mother that she asked about me often and said that she knew that I would do well. Fast forward a bit after graduating, and every time she saw me, she would come and give me a hug and tell me that she was proud of me. It meant a lot to me and I am going to miss her. Well done, good and faithful servant. Enjoy your promotion to Glory. Until we meet again!!

Phyllis was the last of a very special group of ladies of the Salvation Army. I always loved her laugh. She was a tremendously hard worker. She really cared a lot for our family. We will all meet again

I Have many wonderful memories of Phyllis. She gave 70 faithful years to The Bellaire Salvation Army. I Know many of our church members and home league members will miss seeing her, talking to her, and listening to the many prayer requests that she asked for, on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
I know that Christ said these words to her, when she entered heaven.
Good job. You were a good and faithful servant. Enjoy your promotion to glory,
