Phyllis Marie Visnic, 74 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Wheeling Hospital.
She was born January 21, 1945 in Martins Ferry, Ohio the daughter of the late Phillip and Lottie James Jackson.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Visnic and her brothers, Robert and Charles Jackson.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa (Steven) Carlisle of Lancaster, Ohio and her son, William “Bill” Visnic of Jacobsburg, Ohio, her close friend and companion, Steve Hornyak. Also two grandchildren, Diane Rodak and William “Billy” Rodak, three step grandchildren, Christian Carlisle, Christina Carlisle, Candice Carlisle and thirteen great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services. Final arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.

I’m sorry for your loss. I just found out about her passing. She was always there for me as a child and treated me like family, which is what I always considered her as. Phyllis was a huge part of my life and I am great ful to had known her.
I have become very close to Phyllis.I seen her about everyday.I loved how she always took my side when Ralph and Bill thought they would pick on us.she was one of the best woman I’ve ever met
