Richard A. Klempa, 89, of Bellaire Ohio passed away August 31, 2019, at his home supported by his family.
Richard was born September 28, 1929, in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Simon and Agnes Hartsola Klempa.
He was retired from United Dairy, Martins Ferry, OH, a member of Teamsters Local #679 Wheeling, WV, a member of St John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Preceding him in death was a brother, William Klempa, two sisters, Mary Spurlin, and Theresa Masarick.
Surviving are his loving wife of 69 years, Sarah E. (Harris) Klempa, a son, Edward ( Lori) Klempa of Yorkville, OH, two grandchildren, Rick Klempa of Yorkville, OH and Brooke Gould of Columbus, OH, a great-granddaughter, Elora, several nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be at 10 am Wednesday at St, John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.
Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.

Vigil service will be held at 6:45 pm on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct Military graveside honors.
