Richard L. Pogany, 75, of St. Clairsville, OH died Friday, August 5, 2016 at Cumberland Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, St. Clairsville. He was born October 14, 1940 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Louis and Susan Jacobs Pogany, Jr.
Richard proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years, was a member of the former First Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Crescent, OH and a member of the NRA and the St. Clairsville High School Alumni Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Darlene Ferguson Pogany.
Surviving are two daughters, Tina (Anthony) Michaud of St. CLairsville and Susanne (Scott) Lewis of Cadiz, OH; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Pogany of St. Clairsville and Mark (Connie) Pogany of Granville, OH; four grandchildren, Peyton Lewis, Wyatt Cunningham, Christina Marie Gildea and Randy Vickers; five great-grandchildren; two nephews, Jason Pogany and Rick Pogany; a great niece, Shelby; a great nephew, Ryan.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10 am until time of Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville with Sarah Barickman as Life Celebrant. Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
