No words can describe this terrible loss. Remember the memories and be happy that Mom and Dad are together again.
dear Nancy, I’m so very sorry to hear of your dad passing. We loved him as a neighbor, and as a very great person. My thoughts are with you and everyone during this sad time.
Cindy, Cookie, and Nancy. Beth called to let me know of your dad’s passing. My love and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. I am so sorry I won’t be able to be there to offer hugs in person. It has been a very long time since I’ve seen him, but remember he always had the biggest smile and those big blue eyes. I hope he was not in pain and for whatever reason GOD chose him at this time, that he did not suffer in any way. I love you all and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. You are at PEACE, Mr. Cook.
When you turned around
I was at your hip
Trying to keep up
with your every step.
When you spoke I listened to
every word trying to listen
to every detail to try and do it just
the way you did and do it right.
When I was all grown up I tried to
Make you proud.Your opinion
always mattered.
Today with tearful eyes I have to say
good by to your earthly body…….now
But I rejoice in knowing that
all I need to do is dry my eyes and
lift up my head and you’ll be right
there to guild me still.
I LOVE YOU THEN, NOW,
AND FOREVER DAD.
YOUR YOUNGEST DAUGHTER
NANCY ELLEN
