Rockie Andrew Patterson, born March 19, 1960 passed away November 12, 2020 at his home in Rockville, MD after a brave battle with cancer.
He graduated from Jewett Scio High School and Akron University with a degree in electrical engineering. Rockie retired from the Federal Communications Commission, International Satellite Division in 2016 after 32 years of service, where he was an International Negotiator, specializing in Broadcast Satellites.
Rockie was a kind, unassuming, good natured man who loved his family, automobiles, traveling, and attending concerts and sports events.
Everyone who knew Rockie enjoyed spending time with him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Arch Patterson and Roxie Lee (Farrier) Patterson Thompson.
He is survived by his sister Cheryl Madonna of Bronx, NY, his maternal aunt Teresa Venham of Shadyside, OH, his uncle Paul Patterson of Woodsfield, OH and his best friend Marcus (Jennifer) Wolf of Gilbertsville, PA.
He also leaves behind several cousins including Tracy Kovello of Willowick, OH, John Venham of Shadyside, OH, and Shawna (Sean) Price of Maple Heights, OH. Due to Covid-19, all services will be private.
