Roger Dale Darrah, 69, of Bellaire, OH, passed away peacefully at home with loving family by his side on Monday, December 13, 2021.
He was Christian by faith and enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, James Darrah, and brothers Gerald & Carl Darrah. He is survived by his wife, Janet Darrah, of Bellaire, OH; children, Laurie Darrah of Bellaire, OH, Melissa Darrah of Pennsboro, WV, Valerie (Jason) Fehl of Pittsburgh, PA, Heather (Josh) Lepard of Tallapoosa, GA, Brian (Audrey) Darrah of Shadyside, OH, Lacey Darrah of Pittsburgh, PA; mother, Lena Masciarelli of Bellaire, OH; brothers, James (Kandi) Darrah of Bowerston, OH, Darin Darrah of Yorkville, OH; sisters, Bonnie Heslop of Bellaire, OH, Brenda Masciarelli of Bellaire, OH, Kathy (Charles) Zerfoss of St. Clairsville, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th St. Bellaire, OH on Friday December 17th from 2-4pm & 6-8pm where services will be held on Saturday, December 18th at 11:00am with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.

I remember so well when Gerald and Roger played their guitars and sang “Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold This Body Down”. Part of the lyrics were “Meet me, Jesus, meet me, meet me in the middle of the air”. It was wonderful!! So sorry for your loss, Janet and family.
