Ronald J. Seevers, 59 of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Valley Hospice South’s Liza’s Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He was born August 16, 1957 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Robert W. and Anna Olack Seevers.
He was a retired coal miner with the former Consol’s Shoemaker Mine. A member of the St. John Catholic Church, VFW Post 626, American Legion Post 52 and Bellaire Eagles FOE 371 all of Bellaire, Ohio and the Neffs Rod and Gun Club.
Ron loved fishing, hunting, working on and painting cars and riding his Harley.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Hoffman Seevers, whom he married on July 3, 1976; his son, Brad (Lee) Seevers of Parkersburg, West Virginia and his daughter, Brandi (Larry) Donahue of Bellaire, Ohio,his sister, Claire Shorts of St. Clairsville, Ohio, five brothers, Robert Seevers of Dillonvale, Ohio, Rick Seever of McConnellsville, Ohio, Richard Seevers of Columbus, Ohio, Randall Seevers of Morrisville, Pennsylvania and Roger Seevers of Bellaire, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Kamren, Kyra and Tyler Donahue, Linkin, Parker and Vincent Seevers and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated in Ron’s honor on Saturday at 10 am at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel as Celebrant. Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio. A Wake service will follow the committal at the VFW Post 626 beginning at 1 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Catholic Church Bell or Grotto Fund at “TMCFunding.com”.

I’Ll miss seeing ron around,he and my dad were good friends…he was dads “go to guy” when it came to small repairs on vehicles, and did some great paintwork on dads truck and 1926 model – t…great sense of humor, drank an occasional beer with him and dad, and always had alot of laughs…he will be missed by many for sure…r.i.p. brother…
