Les and I are saddened by the loss of Cousin Rossie. I so enjoyed our conversations and emails. We often talked about a visit to his home in aflame Ridha. What I do know about my cousin is his extreme love and dedication to his family and the love he had for his wife Rosie. It makes me feel better to know that she greeted him and they are together again. The Julian family were truly committed to each other. Natasha, Shawna, Mary Francis, Linda and immediate family, know you are in our prayers. May God bless you and fond memories bring you peace. The Blizzard of 2016 in the Washington DC prevented us to being there, but certainly in our hearts. Love Martha and Les
I have just found out about Ross and wanted to send my condolences. He was always mentioning his family when we spoke. He will be missed.
Ross was a good guy…..always waved at us passing in our cars….lived in our neighborhood…he can now RIP and be with his wife….Condolences to his family…
Mr. Julian taught me to drive some 30 years ago and was in his class at Buckeye South High. Always liked Mr. Julian. Rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Julian’s passing. He was my algebra teacher at Buckeye Southwest High School as well as my driver’s Ed teacher. I remember learning to drive in the snow and of course I was very nervous. Ross was as calm as can be and just kept telling me “you can do it.” He was very patient and kind. Shawna and Natasha I hope you find comfort that your mom and dad are together again. Our condolences to your family!
After a near broadsiding of a school bus on our way out to begin the driving lesson, and after crossing a train track perhaps 20 yards before an oncoming train that I failed to see, the rebuke from the instructor in the passenger’s seat was simply “We’ll keep practicing.”
After a math class came a heartfelt discussion borne of his recognition that I was going through a difficult breakup. His simple advice helped a heartsick kid start rebuilding a world that seemed (in that teenage way) to be falling apart.
A good man indeed.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Julian’s passing. He was a wonderful teacher (one of my favorites), a good man and I’m honored to have known him. He never hesitated to help in the classroom, and even wrote college recommendations for me. He will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.
Mr. Julian was my teacher at Buckeye Local and made trigonometry and geometry look so easy. He was definitely one of the nicest, coolest and patient teachers, as he also taught me to drive. A wonderful man loved by all of his students. Tash and Shawn, you are in my prayers. Take comfort in the wonderful legacy both he and your mom left behind. They have always been so proud of you!
Mr. Julian was my high school math teacher and one of my favorite teachers of all time. He was always willing to help. He had a full life and will be missed by many.
Our deepest condolences to the Family of Mr. Ross Julian. He and his wife lived in our Village Villa Apartment complex Apt. 5, on Walden Avenue in Tiltonsville Ohio – as a young couple in the early ’70’s. My sisters, and I had him as a mathematics and Algebra teacher for many courses throughout our years at Buckeye Local (South). Ross wrote one on my references to attend college at Florida Tech. My mother, brother, sisters and I all thought the world of he and his wife and children. Loved and missed. Alex & Bonnie Johnston; Steph, Cindy, Abby, Graydon and Garner Ted Aukerman.
