Sandra Louise (Novena) Evans

Sandra Louise (Novena) Evans, 82, of Bellaire, OH, passed away on November 7, 2022 at the Continuous Care Center of Wheeling, WV

She was born on October 14, 1940 to the late Anthony “Tony” and Geneva (Mellott) Novena in Bellaire, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Evans, and brothers, Anthony and Albert Novena.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Christine (Roger) Marling of Bellaire, OH, sister, Sharon (Bruce) Anatasia of Bellaire, OH; two granddaughters: Kayla Marling (Mat Frazier) of Martins Ferry, OH, Cynthia Marling of Bellaire, OH; great-grandson, Dallas Frazier; great-granddaughter, Baileigh Frazier; and her loving furbaby, Angel.

She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 371, St. John’s Catholic Church and the Bellaire Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing Bunco with her sister and friends. Sandra enjoyed snuggling with her cat, watching soap operas, and Hallmark movies. She loved her family more than anything and instilled faith, strength, and compassion in everyone she met.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home – Bellaire Chapel 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906.

A service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Immediately following the visitation, friends and family are invited to the Bellaire Eagles 2407 Belmont St. Bellaire, OH 43906.

Interment will be held privately at the Belmont County Memorial Park – St. Clairsville, OH.
