Very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and Prayers for your family.
To the Tolzda family: I am so sorry that I can’t express my sympathies in person, as I would like to do. I have many fond memories of many, many Sunday afternoons “out the creek” with Shirley and the rest of the Tolzda family and others at our weekend picnics, playing Pokeno, bar-b-que, etc. Shirley was a big part of those great days. I always enjoyed seeing her at various Powhatan functions, when I was back home and Shirley was always very kind to me. When the Belmont Grocery was still open and I would come home from college for the weekend, I often would sit on the stool up front by the cash register, so that I could visit with customers, when they came through. Shirley was always one of the ones that I looked forward to visiting with. Powhatan has lost someone very special.
Sorry for the loss of a very wonderful lady. She will be missed by many
