It is with joy and sadness that the family of Shirley M. Crawford announce that Shirley went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 10 , 2021.

She was born May 31, 1935 a daughter of the late James Johnson and Marie (Zahradnik) Cunningham.

Shirley was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bellaire, Ohio, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Crawford, a son, Danny Crawford, two brothers, James Johnson and Ralph Cunningham, and a sister, Joann Lloyd.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Ron) Marling of Bellaire, Ohio, four grandchildren, David (Lindsay Polanski) Petros, Rachel Travis, Bobbie (Bill) Burek and Eric Marling. Eight great-grandchildren. Ashley M. Petros, Avery Travis, Allyson Travis, Ari Petros, Tripp Bonds, Emma Burek, Kole and Linkoln Petros.

It has been a few years since I last saw Shirley, but we were members of the church choir, and I will never forget her or her daughter, Shirley Marling. I will miss her, but know that she is now lending her voice to God’s choir in heaven. Glad to call her and her family friends.
