Thomas E. Parker, 82, of Shadyside, OH died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born May 15, 1936 in Centerville, OH a son of the late William H. and Lenora Foreman Parker.
Tom was a retired employee of Knights Manufacturing, Shadyside, a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church serving as a Lay Speaker and Lay Leader and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Robert Parker; sisters, Lydia Wallace, Bernice Beck, Maxine Moore and Rosalee Parker.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Nellie Bongiorno Parker; two daughters, Elaine (William) Hess and Lucinda Parker all of Shadyside; five granddaughters, Suzanne (Ronnie) Morris, Bethany Ault, Megan Ault, Emily Ault and Lindsay Hess.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Speaker Roger Tipton officiating. Entombment will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Wheeling, with full Military Honors being conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
