Trigg, Vernon Lee, 69 of Bellaire, Ohio, Passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in his home where he has been surrounded by his loving family and numerous friends over the course of his illness. Vernon was born Dec 24, 1945, the son of the late Arthur and Mildred Trigg of Neffs, Ohio.
A devoted Husband, Father and Friend, He was a retired Machinist from Tri-State Machine and a long time Scout Master and advocate for the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two Brothers, Arthur “Jim” and Marion Trigg and a Sister Doreen Gellner.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving Wife of 49 years, Latricia (Ostrander) Trigg of Bellaire, Ohio; a Son Vernon Trigg II and a Daughter Leisha Trigg both of Bellaire, OH, two Brothers, John (Nancy) Trigg of Neffs, OH, and Tom (Renata) Trigg of Romance, AK; two Sisters-in-law, Marie Trigg (Jim’s widow) of Dillonvale, OH and Rose Trigg (Marion’s widow) of Bellaire, OH as well as four Grand Children, Alicia Harris of Shadyside, OH, Kip (Isabella) Harris of Medford, MA, Corie Trigg of Bellaire, OH, and Vernon Trigg III of Bellaire, OH and three Great Grand Children, Emma and William Harris and Leland Anderson, along with several nieces and nephews and numerous members of the Ostrander Family who loved him like he was one of their own.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th street, Bellarie, Ohio 43906. Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor Rodney Hubbs Officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
