Virginia W. “Janey” Andes, 79, of Shadyside, Ohio Passed away August 24, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
Janey was born August 20, 1937 in Wheeling, WV. a daughter of the late Charles B. and Virginia Robinson Ellis Jr.
She was retired from the Bellaire Clinic and a Catholic by Faith.
Surviving are two sons; Edward C. (Jeri) Andes of Shadyside, OH and Gregory E. (Robin) Andes of Galena, OH, 5 grandchildren; Jared Andes, Justin Andes, Toni Andes, Greg Andes, Eric Andes , her pet dog “EM” and many friends.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday with Fr. Samuel Saprano officiating.
Burial follows in Stone Church Cemetery, Wheeling WV.

So sorry to hear about Janey. She was a good friend. We worked together at the Clinic in Bellaire. She always made me laugh. May she rest in peace. My prayers go out to her family. Rest in peace friend.
Sure will seem empty not seeing Janey at the Shadyside games this year. Always a supporter and friendly person to everyone. The family of Janey will have so many great memories to warm their hearts in the future.

We’ve gotten to know Janey in the last several decades from her granddaughter Toni which is like our adopted daughter.We saw what a kind,loving, and fun person she was and the love she had for Toni,you could tell every time she saw Toni her face lit up and she was so excited to see her.She will definitely be missed.Our prayers are with you all.

Janey was a second mother to me growing up. She was fun, full of life, and fun to be around. Great great memories with her that will never be forgotten.
