I enjoyed so many conversations with Mr. Gerdau at the track. Years ago, he was a regular at the home meets and he would stand near the finish line. At every little break in the meet, we would find time for conversation. May God comfort you all during this time of loss.

Goodbye old friend…Walter Gerdau. Worked with Walter at IH-Shadyside Stamping Plant for years when he was the UAW 1077 President. Always a faithful orange/black Shadyside ‘Tiger’ fan…he will be missed. Condolences to Walter, Jr., and extended family. sue junkins
