Walter Reed, 83 of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday February 17, 2018 at his home.
He was born April 15, 1934 a son of the late William and Eva (Murrin) Reed in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Walter attended Wheeling High School before serving his country in the Air Force.
He worked installing siding and windows for over thirty years and loved to garden in his free time.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda (Coleman) Reed and his siblings, William Reed, Evelyn Holland and Connie Reed.
He is survived by his children, Charles (Melanie) Reed of Bellaire, Ohio and Kurt (Kimberly) Reed of Colerain, Ohio.
In addition he is survived by two grandchildren Michael and Jason Reed along with his sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906 on Wednesday February 21, 2018 from 4-7 pm and on Thursday the 22nd from 10am until time of service at 11 with Rev. Bill Burris officiating.
Military honors will be conferred by the Belmont County Council of the American Legion.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
