William “Bill” Earl Trigg, 83, of Cambridge, OH, passed away on May 17, 2022 at the Altercare Nursing Home of Cambridge, OH

He was born on March 21, 1939 to Elmer and Jessie (Crouse) Trigg in Bellaire, OH.

Bill worked as a Driver/Warehouse Manager for Muxies and Dr. Pepper Distributors in Bellaire, OH. Bill was a member of the Local Area Teamsters Union and a United States Navy Veteran.
He was a former EMT for the City of Bellaire, Oh and helped them found their organization. He was a Catholic by faith, and an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed karaoke and was a tremendous Cleveland Browns fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Marie (Joyce) Trigg in 2008, and brother Jack Trigg.

Bill is survived by his second-wife, Nancy Trigg, daughter, Joyce Trigg-Mason and her companion, Don McCloud, of Belmont, OH; son, John “Bubba” Trigg of Blaine, OH; siblings: Bonnie James of Follansbee, WV, Albert (Medy) Trigg of Neffs, OH, Danny (Brenda) Trigg of Shadyside, OH; grandchildren: Jessica (Neal) Stillion of Cambridge, OH, Diana (Justin) Brown of Bridgeport, OH; and numerous multi-generational nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home – Bellaire Chapel, Bellaire, OH, from 2:00 pm until the time of Military Honors led by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 4:00 pm. Memorial service immediately following with Bishop Michael Tolliver officiating.

An inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Powhatan Cemetery – Powhatan Point, OH to reunite him with his late wife Ann Marie, the love of his life.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of my counsin. Bill was always a kind and gentle man. Although I hadn’t seen him for several years; he is in my heart forever. RIP

Dear Dad, I will never forget the times we spent on the Dr.Pepper truck and the Budweiser truck. I’ll never forget how you arranged for me to go with Junior in his semi to Latrobe,Pa.to pick up a load of Rolling Rock. I will always remember the times we spent together bowling,golfing,and watching the Browns. Thank you for all the good memories. You will be truly missed and always loved.
