My condolences on the coach’s passing. Fond memories of playing for him. He showed patience with me even though I probably didn’t deserve his kindness. Truly a person for young athletes to be around as he understood there was more to be gained from the experience than just the game.

Coach Thomas was a coach and mentor during my years at BHS. His example inspired be to go into teaching, although it took me thirty years before I made it to the classroom (after college and my service in the military). He was a great inspiration.
