William H. Barnes, Jr., 79, of Neffs, OH died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born January 15, 1941 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late William H. and Laura Templin Barnes, Sr.
Bill was a former employee of Ohio Valley Battery and a member of Coalbrook Presbyterian Church serving as an Elder. He was a 1958 graduate of Bellaire High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Nancy Kay Homan Barnes in 2002; three brothers, Carl, Charles and Robert Barnes.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah A. Kuri-Barnes of Neffs; their children, Jeremy (Joan) Barnes of Loveland, OH, Patty (Rob) Clark of Sevierville, TN., Donna (Robert) Conrad of Weston, FL., Michael Kuri of Neffs; a brother by choice, John Arn of Shepherdsville, KY; grandchildren, Julia Barnes, Katherine Barnes, Nicholas Wylie, Ryan Clark, Kylie Clark, Lyndsi Clark, Kathryn Kuri, Michael Kuri, Robert Conrad and Sarah Conrad.
Friends and family will be received on Monday from 4-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 with funeral services on Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor John Arn officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

So sorry to here of Bills Passing. Our condolences to all. He was always a good conversation when I ran into to him. May the pain of his passing be replaced one day with the memories of his life. Death takes the body, God takes the soul, we are left with the memories. RIP Bill.
