William R. “Bill” Bommer, Jr. 69 of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 18, 1950 in Bellaire, Ohio son of the late William R. Bommer, Sr. and Theresa Wisvari Bommer.
Bill was the owner and operator of Bommer Trucking and a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed antique cars and trains.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Bommer in 1985.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Morris Bommer, whom he married on October 15, 1977, his sisters, Theresa (Jimmy) Childers of Neffs, Ohio and Cecelia (Bob) DeLong of Shadyside, Ohio; brothers, Paul Bommer of Bellaire, Ohio, Joseph Bommer of Benwood, West Virginia and Charles (Jenny) Bommer of Jacobsburg, Ohio. Also nieces and nephews, PJ Bommer, Emmy (Rick) Helms, Brandi (John) Nye, Benji (Melissa) Childers and Teddy (Krista) Bommer, several great nieces and nephews and his dog and best friend, Nicky.
Family and friends will be receieved at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Ray Benesh officiating. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
