William V. Johnson 73, of St. Clairsville. OH died January 7, 2020 at Wheeling,WV.
Bill was born January 7, 1947, in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Albert B. and Beatrice L. Brown Johnson Sr.
He was retired from St. Clairsville/Richland City Schools and a member of the Bellaire Presbyterian Church.
Preceding him in death by two brothers Charles Johnson and Albert V. Johnson Jr.
Surviving is his wife Diane Chuckery Johnson, three daughters, Stacey (Robert) Bennington of Bridgeport, OH, Billie Jo (Jamie) Stalder of Martins Ferry, OH, and Heidi (Michael) Terek of Martins Ferry, OH., a son Eric Johnson of Bellaire, OH., a brother, Howard “Dave” Johnson of Shadyside, OH., three sisters, Phyllis Hendershot of St. Clairsville, OH., Beverly (Donald) Hrdlicka of Bellaire, OH., and Nancy Reed of Sacramento, CA., 6 grandchildren; Genae, Jodi, Cody, Taylor, Shane, and Gage.
Family and friends will be received from Noon – 6pm Sunday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH., where services will be held at 11 am Monday with Reverend Marcie Allen officiating.
Burial follows at Davis Cemetery, Bellaire, OH.

I grew up a few homes from Bill. He was always very nice and let me hang out when he was working on his many cars. I loved his 66 Chevelle SS, red and white with blue stars down the middle. It was awesome!! RIP
